This week, I’m embarking on a new series of posters to keep this site moving between viable submissions. With so much of our collective thought and discourse the last year focused on the upcoming election, I want to work on something civically-minded. So, I’m kicking off an exploration of the amendments to our U.S. Constitution through posters. There are 27 of them, so this should keep me busy for at least half a year between publically submitted poster requests and I’m looking forward to exploring more of the lesser known content.
This week, we start off with one of the best known amendments. The First Amendment ensures the freedom of speech for individuals and media, allows the right to peacefully assemble, and establishes the freedom for religious practice, while asserting that the country will create no laws to establish a religion of the state.
I hope everyone VOTES today! We vote by mail in Washington, but I want to thank everyone who waits in long lines and goes to great lengths to make sure your vote is counted today. VOTE, VOTE, VOTE!

I design a free poster every week. Next week it could be yours!
